Police car involved in collision between three vehicles in Bideford

A police car has been involved in a three car collision in Bideford.

The crash happened on Boxing Day at around 4pm while the police car was out searching for a man who had been found intruding in a nearby garden.

All police units were out looking for the man when the crash happened on Bideford Quay.

No-one was injured in the collision between the police car, a Honda and a Rover.

A 16-year-old was arrested over the incident this morning and is currently in police custody but has not been charged.
