Sergeant Mark Ruston, Police Search Advisor with Devon and Cornwall Police said, "We are extremely concerned about Sally’s welfare.

At this time we cannot ascertain if Sally has found somewhere warm to seek shelter or if she has come to some harm.

“She has previously sheltered in Shop doorways but has also displayed some concerning behaviour in the past which may suggest that she is at risk to herself.

"We have worked very closely with Brixham Coastguard, with their foot teams having searched the coastline with assistance from the Torbay All Weather Lifeboat and Inshore Rescue Boat. In addition to this officers have been searching some of the woodland adjacent to the coast path”.

If anyone thinks they may have seen Sally or know of her current whereabouts then please call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 and quote incident reference 0577 21/01/13.
