Police surround property in Plymouth city centre after reports of man 'holding knives out window'
Police officers armed with tasers were called to a domestic incident in Plymouth city centre today.
Officers surrounded a flat in Harwell Street, near the Toys R Us store, after reports a male was hanging out a window and screaming and shouting.

A police spokesman said: "Officers were called after reports of a domestic incident involving a female and a male who was thought to be holding knives on a window ledge on a block of flats.
"Police with authority to use tasers approached the building silently and secured the area at 10:15am."

At 10:45am police knocked on the door of the flats and the male answered.
A 16-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of affray and was taken into custody at Charles Cross Police Station.
This afternoon he was released without charge wiht no further action being taken, said police.
An ambulance and a fire crew were also called to the scene but were not required.
Nobody was injured during the incident and tasers were not used.
Police carried out door-to-door enquiries to reassure residents.
