CHUDLEIGH Youth Centre has drummed up support for its 24-hour pool-athon tomorrow

It's roped in young people, staff and committee members to take part.

"There are around two dozen youngsters and many others getting involved," said Chris Webb, vice chairman of the CYC committee.

"We hope to raise around £1,000 which will go towards running costs and equipment at the centre. Funding and grants are few and far between now due to cut backs, so we have to be proactive and fundraise."
