Pop to museum
LOCAL history and the best of Mid Devon's attractions are being celebrated at a 'pop-up' museum in Tiverton.
Vacated premises in the town centre are being used to showcase the area by the staff at the Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life.
The façade of the former Julian Graves shop on Fore Street features a timeline and a banner promoting Knightshayes, Tiverton Castle, Bickleigh Mill and the Grand Western Canal. A display to raise awareness of the Beck's Square museum's extensive exhibitions also features in the recently vacated Busy Bee premises on Gold Street.
Pippa Griffith, director of Tiverton Museum, said she is "delighted" with the scheme.
