Potholes marked but not mended
LISTENING to Radio Devon in the car, a guy being interviewed, Ian Crowther, was being grilled about potholes in and around Plymouth and Devon in general. He was saying these potholes should be reported so they know where they are then they can fix them, saying they don't always know where they all are?
I beg to differ. What about the roads they already know about, i.e. Compton Avenue. Last year they went right through the road to circle all the holes with white paint, believe me there's a lot of them.

Now the paint has worn off and they have to go through the whole process of marking the road again. Talk about wasting taxpayers money. To be honest the road is a disgrace and it needs a complete resurfacing.

“What i dont understand is why has the council with all their wisdom wasted money on another unnessesary mini roundabout, complete with a traffic island, on the junction of Ford Park Rd/Gifford Place whilst just a few yards away the road is littered with holes and sections missing. Surely they need to get there priorities right.”

“i know exactly how you feel .They have repaired 2 parts of a bend at the top of Trevithick Rd.St Budeaux and left the centre of the bend ,where most of the pot holes remain.Where is the logic in that.”
