Prolific Ojo inspires Raiders to win
A stunning 40 point performance by in-form guard Michael Ojo lifted UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders to a 100-93 win at Cheshire Phoenix – although they had to work hard to finish off the hosts, who launched a late bid to come back and win the contest.
The first quarter was played at a frantic pace and both teams found their offensive rhythm early, with Cheshire shading matters 27-25.

The game then developed into something of a more intense struggle during the second period, with neither able to make a break and put any daylight between each other, and so it was still a one-shot game at the half-time break, only this time the two-point advantage was with Raiders at 53-51.
It was at the end of the third quarter when the visitors took control, mainly through the superb display of Ojo, as his three-pointer helped Raiders score eight of the last ten points to move 82-73 ahead.
