Promoting the past with a future
TIVERTON Museum of Mid Devon Life has a new education and outreach officer, Katherine Lacey.
Liz Shepherd, the previous education officer, has joined The Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro. Katherine, an education officer at RAMM in Exeter and a primary school teacher, will head the programme of hands-on experiences at the museum, or she can visit schools. She will also run the popular family activity days. Her department is supported by a team of volunteers.

Another key piece of Katherine's work is reminiscence therapy, where elderly people can handle objects related to their younger days.
