FAMILY and friends have been at the hospital bedside of a landlord seriously hurt after a car ploughed into the wall of his pub.

Kevin O'Neill, 53, was pulled out of the wreckage by pub regulars at the Three Elms, in Drew Street, Brixham.

The popular landlord was having a cigarette in the porch after returning from a pool match when the accident happened.

Landlady Angie Sanders, his partner, said it was 'a miracle' nobody was killed.
