An extension to the Ferry House Inn to transform it into a bed and breakfast facility has been proposed.

As part of the plans, submitted to Plymouth City Council’s planning department, the extension would include new landlord accommodation and letting bedrooms with associated toilet facilities.

In the past, previous owners of the Wolseley Road pub have provided a bed and breakfast facility but not the current owners.

Under the proposals seven rooms would be provided as well as alterations and extensions to provide additional landlord’s accommodation.

If the plans are given the go ahead the public house will be reinstated to include a use categorised as C1: Hotels.

It was said in the application that the proposal will not affect any of the ground floor level of the existing building.
