THOSE with a quick step can do the rhumba with the Tiverton Ballroom Dancers Club.

New members are welcome to go along to Heathcoat Hall to try the samba, tango, fox trot, waltz and cha-cha on the second Saturday of every month. The venue has a bar and a friendly atmosphere.

Club secretary Sheila Kirby said all expected dances are performed plus the odd old-time sequence.

She said: "We always hold a good raffle and everything is geared to make the evening enjoyable. Our next dance is on Saturday, September 11."

The club meets from 8pm until 11pm.
