Compton CoE, Austin Farm and Drake Primary have already booked their places by winning their pools.
Organiser Anna Clooke said: "It has been brilliant so far. The behaviour of the children has been amazing and the standard just gets better and better each year.
"I think that is due to the fact that they have more opportunities now to take part in competition.
"This year we have had two warm-up competitions and that has helped."
The winners and runners-up of the event will have the chance to represent Plymouth at the regional finals, which will be held in Paignton on March 27.
High Five is a form of netball for boys and girls aged nine to 11 year-olds that involves just five players on the court at one time.
