North Devon+ debates positive change
DELIVERING Positive Change was the theme of the North Devon+ annual conference.
The event discussed tough economic conditions, marketing developments, examples of local business and working together for positive change.
It investigated a wide range of barriers to growth, from low wages in Torridge to transport links and the A361, highlighted ways in which businesses can plan for future growth and detailed programmes being run in the area.
"North Devon+ has secured £3 million from DEFRA to support local projects, and we've allocated £500k in the form of small business grants," said Robin Makeig Jones North Devon+ commercial director.
