Repairs start at the Walronds
REPAIRS to a Grade-I listed stately home in the centre of Cullompton started yesterday, after years of fundraising and planning.
Splitlath Building Conservation Ltd, Hereford, will lead the refurbishment work at the Walronds, Fore Street, with support from a number of local sub-contractors. The property was placed on the English Heritage 'At Risk' list and millions of pounds have been raised for its overhaul.

Preparatory studies and investigations have already been carried out and the work is expected to be complete by November 28.
Thanks have been paid to the Heritage Lottery Fund and various other donors.
