Restoration show is a must for classic vehicle fans
More than 5,000 visitors are expected at the Footman James Classic Vehicle Restoration Show next month.
Now in its 13th year, the show will feature up to 150 exhibitors, including classic car clubs, traders and autojumblers spread over four indoor arenas.
The owners' clubs and restorers will host live displays and offer visitors expert restoration advice. The show also includes an auction, suppliers and autojumblers all offering a wealth of motoring gadgets and spares.
Event organiser Nigel Stevens said: "So many of our visitors are looking for advice, restoration services and spares to restore, or maintain, their vehicles over the winter months, and that's exactly why the supplier and autojumble aspect of the event is growing in popularity with visitors.

"Being an indoor event also enables us to attract visitors whatever the weather."
The themed club displays are a speciality of the show, and Mr Stevens anticipates the usual high standard of entry this year.
"Owners clubs are confirming their displays all the time, but the show already has confirmed entries for extensive restoration projects.
"Other car clubs will focus squarely on aspects of car restoration, be it engine or chassis, general overhaul or finishing touches."
Visitors can bring their classic cars to show off in the VIP viewing area, or buy a classic vehicle at an on-site auction, which is held on Sunday by classic vehicle auctioneer Charterhouse.
The 13th Footman James Classic Vehicle Restoration Show will take place at the Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, on November 2-3. Doors are open from 9.30am to 4pm on both days.
Tickets are available at £9 at www.bccsl.co.uk.
