POLICE seized a large amount of cash, drugs and suspected stolen property in a raid at a flat in the Wellswood area of Torquay at the weekend.

The Torquay-based South Devon Pro-Active Unit executed a drugs warrant at the flat on Saturday.

They described the haul as 'significant'.

DC Simon Sherwood from the unit is now asking the public, via the Herald Express Swag Bag feature, to help trace the stolen items.

Also 'Rachey Face', the owner of a stolen iPod, has come forward thanks to last weeks' Swag Bag.

DC Sherwood said: "We've found Rachey Face. I have had an email from a Rachel who says that it is her iPod."

He added: "There is a two-wheeled theme to the items featured this week and we are hoping someone recognises their property so they can be reunited with it.

"In these cases it is possible the owners didn't report the property stolen at the time for whatever reason. But this is not a problem. If you think the property pictured is yours or have any information about it please get in touch with me on 01803 841614."

The four items pictured are a silver Giant-make racing bike, a grey Schwinn mountain bike, a bright orange, brown and white camouflage motor bike suit (the jacket is shown, but the trousers have also been recovered) and a silver black and white full face motorbike helmet.

A man is now on police bail for offences of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply and handling stolen goods.

Police inquiries are continuing.

People with any other information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
