School choir's snowy Czech Republic concerts
SINGERS with Blundell's School choir in Tiverton enjoyed a visit to Prague and Jihlava, in the Czech Republic last month, in temperatures as low as -13.
The former Eastern bloc country has been a popular venue since the choir's first visit in 1991, just after the Velvet Revolution, and youngsters from the Gymnazium School in Jihlava have attended Blundell's for a term or more.

The Blundell's School choir on their visit to snowy Prague
Pupils were particularly impressed with Prague's Christmas Market in the Old Square, and by the unspoilt nature of the medieval city.
The choir gave concerts in the churches of St Nicholas and the Lady of the Snows and sang in the Cathedral of St Vitus in Prague Castle.
