School's radio students tune in for media award
RADIO stars at an Exeter secondary school have scooped a top media award for the second year running.
Peter Thompson, president of Schools Radio.com, is visiting Isca College of Media Arts today to announce that its students have again won the national Sony Award for Schools Radio.
Isca College Radio was awarded the Documentary/Feature Award for a piece entitled Pocket Money, looking at the economy, spending cuts and changes in funding for higher education.
Headteacher Mandi Street said: "This is a tremendous achievement for the students involved and a credit to the talented support provided by specialist staff here.
