Shopping centre car crash causes delays in Exeter

A crash at an Exeter retail park caused traffic problems this afternoon.

A silver Renault Megane and a Peugeot 107 collided outside the TX Maxx store at Exe Bridges retail park just off the A377 Alphington Road at 2pm today.

The crash resulted in damage to both cars and one of the drivers suffered neck injuries.

Fire crews from Danes Castle and Middlemoor attended and found one casualty was still inside one of the cars being attended to by paramedics.

Firefighters mad e the car safe and left the c=incident with police.

Traffic was reportedly heavy at the time and the road was cleared at 4:28pm.
