Singers wow the judges in Torbay talent contest
THE good, the bad and the uncoordinated battled it out last week at Torquay's Babbacombe Theatre in the second heat of Torbay's Got Talent.
In the most exciting round yet, just six acts were able to go through to tonight's final where a £250 cash prize and professional contract is up for grabs.
Babbacombe Theatre boss and the competition's head judge Colin Matthews said: "The search for talent really took off last Friday and what variety there was, dance acts, guitarists, a comedian, a Michael Jackson tribute and a superb Taekwondo Duo who narrowly missed out on making the final this week.
"It really gave myself and the other judges a tough job but inevitably the strength of the brilliant vocalists won through with some top-notch performers joining the previous week's line up.
