HUNDREDS of primary school children in Plymouth have attempted to smash a world record for signing and singing simultaneously.

The Sign2sing event took place yesterday in schools all over the country – including Plaistow Hill Primary School in St Budeaux, Austin Farm Community Primary School in Eggbuckland and Pennycross Primary School in Pennycross.
