Slow 'homemade' Tuk Tuk stopped on A38 heading past Manadon in Plymouth
A 'homemade' three wheeled car was stopped on the A38 as it did 15mph on the busy carriageway.
The Tuk Tuk type vehicle was about to break down accounting for its slow speed, said police.

Police recieved a call from a member of the public at 3:50pm this afternoon saying they had seen a vehicle that looked like a cross between a mobility scooter and a motorbike travelling dangerously slowly towards Manadon from Marsh Mills on the A38.
The officer who attended the scene said the car appeared to be legal and that it was properly insured.

“Funniest thing I've seen in a while. Is that what passes for journalism these days?
Man caught doing under speed limit in a vehicle that was street legal but looked like it might break down. Just for additional effect let's put in a picture of an empty road!
It's so bad, an attempt to come up with a witty riposte has failed me!!!”

“So the headline should read "legal vehicle doing a legal speed legally on a legal road". There are so many better ways if making this an interesting story. Did you forget to interview the creator of this rather exciting sounding vehicle?”
