Smoke grenade charge for man attempting to enter Torquay United v Exeter City game at Plainmoor
A teenager from Torquay has been charged with possession of a smoke grenade after he attempted to enter Torquay United football club's stadium.
The male was stopped trying to enter Plainmoor at the Torquay United v Exeter City match last night.
The 18-year-old was arrested after he was allegedly found to be in possession of a device at about 7.50pm.
He was detained at Torquay Custody Centre before being charged with the offence under the Sporting Events Act 1985.
