SUSTAINABLE energy firm Eco NRG Ltd is in the London final of an awards scheme for the UK's most successful new businesses.

The Modbury-based company has been shortlisted in the 'green business of the year' category at the Startups Awards, in December.

The solar panel firm is also in talks with Modbury Town Council about donating an electric vehicle charging point. Boss Nigel Jenkins said: "It's possible to build a successful business whilst caring about the environment."
