The 41-year-old from Saltash said: "We raised £12,000.

"It was busy and there was lots of frantic bidding.

"Tom's trunks made £260 and the diving lessons with Tom and Andy made £250 each.

"The England shirt went for nearly £500."

David 'Fitz' Fitzgerald, from BBC Radio Devon, took on the role of auctioneer at the free event.

Becky lost her seven-month old step-grandaughter Gracie Violet to meningitis in February 2011 and has since been involved with Meningitis UK.

She added: "David was a great auctioneer and we also had a fantastic performance form Ivybridge Gymnastic Academy.

"We've now raised around £43,000 in total through these auctions which is brilliant."
