Five South Devon firms in Westcountry Game and Equine festival
FIVE South Devon businesses are taking part in the Westcountry's annual country sports fair.
This year the regional game fair has expanded to include horse events and has become the Westcountry Game and Equine Festival.
As well as shooting, game cookery, gun dogs, displays and skill improvement events, there is a large shopping village on the site which attracts businesses from all over the UK.
The event is organised by Contour Exhibitions of Exeter which said five South Devon businesses are taking part including Rutlands of Oakham which is based in Brixham and is a major UK stockist of Deerhunter clothing.
A Contour spokesman said: "They have been attending the event for many years and will be bringing in some new lines for the show."
Equestrian Book Fair is also based in Brixham and sells a wide range of equestrian books.
A spokesman said: "This links in nicely to the equestrian element of the show this year."
GE Davenport has a selection of clothing and is based in Torquay.
Luggage Locker, of Newton Abbot, trade in bags and suitcases, while Gisellery from Paignton, makes hand-fused glass jewellery.
"Both are both new companies to us this year bringing in another element to the show."
The Westcountry Game and Equine Festival is held at The Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, March 12 and 13, tickets £11, or £9 in advance.
