South Molton still unbeaten
SOUTH Molton moved up to third in the Devon One table as they kept up their 100 per cent start to the season with a win against local rivals Torrington.
Torrington had the power in the forwards, but South Molton moved the ball quicker and punished their opponents in open play.

Steve Ayres put South Molton in control as he slotted an early penalty.
He then crossed for the first try of the game moments later.

Barnaby Newell added another try before the interval to put South Molton 13-0 up at the break.
Torrington hit back in the second half as Nick Evans scored a try that he converted, as well as adding a penalty.
It brought Torrington to within three points of South Molton, but Ayres grabbed another penalty for the home side and when Courtney Lucas crossed for a late try, converted by Ayres, the points were safe.
