Fire crews from Princetown and Yelverton rescued a trapped pony yesterday morning.

A passing motorist called in the incident, near the leat on Two Bridges Road, Princetown, at 10.30am.

The pony was trapped upside down between a wall and fencing.

The specialist rescue team from Camels Head in Plymouth was also dispatched to the scene.
