Speed boat suffers power failure off Torquay harbour
Torbay’s inshore lifeboat was called to the rescue on Saturday night after a speed boat lost power and became stranded off Torquay harbour.
The lifeboat was tasked to help the ‘Fletcher 17’ after it suffered power failure approximately 500 metres off Torquay harbour entrance at 9.10pm.

Lifeboat crews located the boat and towed it back to the harbour.
