Sports car hits lamppost on busy Plymouth roundabout
A SPORTS car was badly damaged when it span on a busy roundabout and hit a lamppost.
Police said the male driver was uninjured when the Mazda RX8 crashed near the A38 sliproad in St Budeaux on Saturday afternoon.
Inspector Gareth Twigg added: "The vehicle span while travelling around the roundabout and collided with a lamppost. A signpost has also been hit."
The car was left with a large dent in its passenger side door at about 3pm.

No other vehicle was said to have been involved in the accident.
Insp Twigg said there was only minor disruption to traffic while the Mazda was recovered.
