Spurs strike force set to make difference
NEWTON Abbot Spurs should have too much firepower for their opponents when they travel to Sidmouth Town on Saturday (3pm) after their front two hit five goals between them last weekend.
Tom Sercombe (pictured) grabbed four of Spurs' five goals at Okehampton Argyle, while strike partner Adam Dyson hit the other to ease their progress through to round two of the Throgmorton Cup.

Spurs boss Paul Dyson has admitted things are starting to look good for his side, who had Tim Porter and Matt Micklewright playing centre-midfield last weekend, with Marc Revell missing and James Clark rested.
"I think we enjoyed ourselves," said Dyson Snr. "It was a break from the league and we tried a couple of things – it's starting to look quite good."

Jake Chisholm is expected to miss this weekend's tie as he is representing Devon U18s, while Mark Smale comes back into the squad.
With Sids sitting on the bottom of the table, things are looking good for Spurs to take another three points and continue to scrap for the lead.
"That's all being well," added Dyson. "They've not had the best of starts so on paper we're probably the favourites, and we're taking a bit of form into it, so I would hope we can go there and get a result."
