Stirrup cup at start of hunt's new season
Tallyho . . . Graham Higgins, master and huntsman of the East Cornwall Hunt, enjoys a stirrup cup at the pack's opening meet at Minions, on Bodmin Moor, watched by his wife Lynsey.
Forty mounted followers turned out for the annual event on the green next to the Cheesewring Hotel, before the hounds followed trails laid across the moor.

The hunt is unique in Cornwall in that it is the one in the county where the hunt staff wear green uniforms rather than red, and the opening meet is traditionally always two or three weeks earlier than other packs.
