The team was mentored by Chie Min Teng, a lecturer at the University of Exeter Business School, who said: "They are a group of wise, young minds who are committed to excelling as business leaders. The fact that the university managed to get two teams to the final is a testament to the quality and dedication of our students. We will do our very best to hopefully capture the world crown."

David Rowsby, director of Europe at CIMA, added: "The standard of this year's competition was higher than ever, indeed in the final reckoning it came down to just one point."
