Surf fashion stores honoured by industry
Cornish surf fashion retailer Ann's Cottage has won a highly commended award at one of the industry's key national calendar events in London.
The retailer, which established with a small Polzeath outlet in 1978, now has eight Cornwall surf stores and a strong online presence, as well as four Animal-branded shops, was highly commended in the Best Young Fashion Retailer category at the Drapers Fashion Awards. Award winners included ASOS, Dr Marten and Burberry.
Ann's Cottage buyer and director Becci Cornelius said: "We've demonstrated that although we're a rural county, we have a finger on the pulse of cutting-edge fashion retail."
