Taylor sets sights on sixth after superb win
WITHERIDGE manager Mike Taylor believes a top-six finish is within his side's reach if they can maintain their current form.
Taylor's men produced an impeccable display from start to finish to see off Elburton Villa 3-0, thanks to goals from Steve Ebdy (2) and Jordan Charran.
Defeat saw Elburton knocked off top spot, and Taylor is aiming high after watching his side move up to fifth.
"I have always said we need to improve on last season. We finished 12th then but I thought we were good enough to be a top-10 side," he said.

"I have started thinking top eight or so but maybe even top six with the way we are playing at the moment.
"But you can't get carried away and you just have to look at the league to see that everybody is beating everybody at the moment.
"It was a good all-round performance (against Elburton). The defence was solid, the midfield was superb and the forwards were on fire. We were in control from start to finish."
Cullompton Rangers boss Dane Bunney lamented his side's poor finishing after being thumped 4-1 by Tavistock.
Rangers went behind after 22 minutes and the visitors doubled their lead 11 minutes later.
An own goal saw Cully off the mark, but two more gave Tavvy a comfortable win.
"We just did not get going for the first 20 minutes and almost as soon as we did we went 1-0 down," said Bunney.
"When we got it back to 2-1 we had four or five chances to make it 2-2 but didn't take them and then they made it 3-1 and killed the game off."
