A TEENAGER is in hospital with "serious injuries" after being involved in a collision with a car in Plymouth.
The youngster, who was walking along a busy road at the time, suffered arm and leg injuries in yesterday afternoon's smash.

DAMAGE: The car involved in the collision with the teenager
Police say he was in collision with a silver Vauxhall Astra near a junction in Manadon at around 4.20pm.
Shakespeare Road was closed well into the evening as investigators worked to piece together the incident.
The car's windscreen and headlights were left shattered in the crash, which happened on Honicknowle Lane.
Traffic officers at the scene said the driver, understood to be a city man, was uninjured but "very shaken".
No arrests have been made but police are desperate to hear from anybody who may have witnessed the smash.
They are searching for another man who is thought to have been with the injured teen at the time, but who left the scene before police arrived.
The pair are believed to have been walking west along Honicknowle Lane, the same direction the car was travelling in, in the moments leading up to the incident.
A Devon & Cornwall Police spokesman last night described the teenager's injuries as "potentially life-changing".
He was treated by paramedics at the scene for "significant" leg and arm injuries before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
Any witnesses are urged to ring the police on 08452 777444, quoting log number 599 of Wednesday, September 8.

“@ Kevin, Germany. It's because - in this country - we have a quaint old custom of 'innocence until proven guilty'. Looks like you'll have to save your bucket of spite and venom until the day she MIGHT be proven guilty!”
