Temporary car park opens at former multi-storey site in Queen Street, Barnstaple
THE site of Barnstaple's multi-storey car park on Queen Street has reopened to cars.
A temporary car park, known as Hardaway Head, opened last week after the old multi-storey car park was closed and demolished in January as part of a regeneration project.
The temporary car park uses the existing ground floor space of the multi-storey.
A council spokesman said although the final costs of the project to open a temporary car park are yet to be confirmed the project was completed well within budget.
