Eagles seconds fell to a crushing 5-2 defeat at Taw Valley.
Eagles scored first through Toni McGovern but Taw hit an equaliser on the half-time whistle. The second half saw Taw play the better hockey and go 5-1 up. Donna Willis did get a consolation goal near the end but the Eagles were well beaten.

A good performance from goalkeeper Joe Muchmore helped keep the scoreline down as the Eagles faced Isca at Exeter University.
Eagles spent most of the match defending letting in two goals in each half.
