Work out exactly how to get to your interview; you will make a poor impression if you are late.

Plan what you are going to wear in advance. Make sure your outfit is suitable, fits well and is clean and pressed.

The trick to making the best impression is being prepared. Interviews are stressful, so make sure you have made your life as easy as possible before the day and then you won't be in a panic when you first arrive.

Read and check your interview instructions carefully – do you need to do a presentation or work trial?

Get plenty of rest and relaxation in the run-up to the interview date. No-one is at their best if they have been out late the night before.

“Wow - leaving out the most important aspect of the interview - your ability to understand the company by preparing suitable questions you can ask them that have not been placed in the public domain. The interview is NOT just what skills you can supply the company but that you have a brain that is flexible for future use.”
