Tisdale reckons Cole is good value
Exeter City captain Danny Coles could finish his career at Exeter City after signing a new deal at the club, according to manager Paul Tisdale.
Promising left-back Jordan Moore-Taylor has also signed a longer contract with the Grecians, after being handed his first professional deal at the end of last season.
The St James' Park side have not disclosed the length of the contracts. However, as Coles celebrates his 31st birthday next Tuesday, Tisdale felt that it shows great commitment from the former Bristol Rovers centre-back. "I'm very pleased that he has committed to a longer term contract. He is certainly looking beyond this year," the City boss declared.
"Danny is our captain. He has been a very consistent performer. He is aggressive and determined and he has got a good will to win. He is an example within the club to the tone we need to set."

Asked if he could see Coles ending his career at St James's Park, Tisdale added: "It would be foolish of me to promise anything, but I see no reason why he can't play a number more very good years here," the City chief said.
Tisdale also sees a bright future ahead for Moore-Taylor. "Jordan is a young developing player who has shown great promise already," he said.
"He has got a lot to learn, but it shows me that he is committed to progressing at the club and developing his game at the club. You know he wants to be here.
"He has already made half a dozen appearances for the team as an 18-year-old, which is very, very good as a defender, and I think he is going to have a big future with us. He didn't hesitate in signing," Tisdale concluded.
