Tiverton light switch-on goes ahead despite downpour
Christmas lights switch-ons have been delayed in Exeter and Plymouth because of the weather, but Tivertonians are clearly made of sterner stuff than Devon's city dwellers.
There was a good turn-out to the Mid Devon town's switch-on last night, despite persistent rain.

Singer/songwriter Adam Isaac pressed the plunger and then performed for the crowd.
