Tivvy look to Smith to continue scoring run
Tiverton Town host Cinderford Town in the FA Trophy preliminary round today, four days before the two sides are fixtured to meet again in Southern League Division One South and West combat.
Today's Trophy tie is at Ladysmead, Tuesday's match at the Foresters' Causeway Ground in Gloucestershire.
Whatever the outcome of today's tie, the two sides are destined to meet again in the next week. Both sides will be anxious to get back on track with a Trophy victory today following Tuesday night home league defeats.
Tiverton lost 3-2 at home to Paulton Rovers, despite Dan Smith's two goals in a minute for Tivvy, while Cinderford were beaten 3-1 at home by sixth-placed Cirencester, who soared four points clear of seventh-placed Tiverton.

Smith – who began his career at Plymouth Argyle before spells at Eastbourne Borough, Truro City, Bath City and Weymouth – also scored last Saturday in Tiverton's 1-0 League win over Thatcham.
