Tolchard seeking revenge on Scotland
The scent of revenge is in the air for three of the South West's top bowlers, who plan to reverse the result of last year's British men's under-25 international series at Worthing, where Scotland prevailed.
This weekend, Sam Tolchard, from Torquay Kings, Shaldon's Ian Lesley and Ilminster ace Louis Ridout travel to the Uddingston club in Glasgow, where they hope to defeat a Scottish team that shows ten changes from last year's successful side.
England captain Tolchard said: "We know that the Scots have made a lot of changes, but that's probably because a lot of their players are too old – but they always manage to find top quality replacements.
"Having said that, it would be great to beat them on their home soil, and regain the title we last won in 2008 – but first we have been drawn to play the 2009 champion Ireland [this morning], and they will be no pushover."
