The horses have all been running very well at Cheltenham without actually getting their heads in front and at this stage we really want a winner.

Having said that, I was so pleased with Goulanes in the RSA. He jumped really well and put up a very good performance on only his second run over fences. He was brilliant.

I hope Dynaste will be our first winner today in the Jewson Novices' Chase. He's carried all before him in England and he'll handle the ground but my only concern, and its quite a big one, is that the two novice chases at the Festival have gone to the Irish and they are not just training the first one home, they're getting the placed horses too.

They seem to have a lot better class of novice chasers. Having said that Dynaste is the best novice chaser over his distance in this country.

Willie Mullins has been phenomenal over the past two days and he will be the reason Paul Nicholls retains his championship title as he's stopping Nicky Henderson from winning everything.

Paul has a lot of ammunition left for the remainder of the season so it's going to be an interesting conclusion.

It was absolutely fantastic watching Sprinter Sacre winning the Queen Mother Champion Chase. What a wonderful horse and he's certainly the best of his generation.

People talk a lot of talk, and I'm not sure you can say he's the best racehorse ever, yet, but he's certainly one of the best right now.

I ride Ballynagour in the Byrne Plate and I hope he'll go well. He didn't show much form in France but he was very good at Warwick winning a class two handicap chase by 19 lengths in February. He has a great chance of emulating Salut Flo which I won on last year.

Close House runs in the Pertemps Final. He's improving with every race and although it wasn't a great race that he won at Wincanton, there's more to come from him.

I ride The Giant Bolster in Friday's Gold Cup, and although we wouldn't be expecting him to win, he should finish in the first four. I'm on Dan Breen on the County Hurdle and His Excellency in the Grand Annual.

I ride a horse for Richard Lee called Gassin Golf in the Triumph Hurdle. He was very good on the flat and was just beaten in a juvenile hurdle at Newbury earlier in the month. Richard Johnson rode him and he's been very complimentary about him. So fingers crossed, going into day three of the Festival, we'll pick up a winner.
