Tops schooled by the Students
TOPSHAM player-coach Colin Milkins is focusing on the positives after a 50-18 thrashing by leaders University of Exeter.
Only Dartmouth are below them as the season approaches the Christmas break.
Milkins had no complaints about the result – set up by a hat-trick from Lawrence Julian and two by James Canty – but he was happy with certain aspects.
"When the Students moved the ball wide they had far too much gas for us and we could not match them," said Milkins.

"In the tight game it was a different story – they couldn't match us. If keep doing what we are good at up front, then release the ball to our backs, I am confident the wins will come and we will start climbing the table after Christmas."
Topsham will be without fly-half Jack Knowles so are likely to bring in Alex Steer as cover.
Knowles landed two penalties and converted one of the tries scored by Kevin Ware and Rupert Stanning.
The University host Torrington, who did not play after Dartmouth could not raise a team.
North Tawton's Devon Two season resumes with a visit from Plymouth Argaum.
