Torquay Boys Grammar School pupils design iPhone app
TWO Torquay Boys' Grammar School sixth form students have taken their first steps into the cutting edge of the business world by creating a new iPhone app.
Dan Henderson and Dean Pomeroy began this project in their spare time between lessons last summer term.

The students, both in their final year of study at the school, presented their completed app to their sponsors from the Management Advisory Service and Workforce.
The app is designed for employers to find advice when having to deal with employees who are experiencing stress or depression.

Professional content was provided to the students to input into the app by Richard Frost at Mindful Employer, a subsidiary of the trust, who worked closely with Dan and Dean in the development process. The app is planned to go live nationally within the month.
