Torquay United say sorry after web service broadcasts Argyle clash
TORQUAY United have apologised to premium website customers after broadcasting commentary on rivals Plymouth Argyle instead of the Gulls on Saturday.
Fans tuning in to Gulls Player to listen to the early part of Torquay United's clash at Northampton Town instead heard action from the Pilgrims' home game against Rochdale.
The club have also revealed that the malfunctioning paid-for web service is showing highlights of MK Dons v Bristol City instead of the latest Torquay United clash.
The club have blamed external producers for the errors, with BBC Devon providing the commentary package and a London production team in charge of the highlights.

They said BBC Devon rectified the commentary as soon as it was informed of the mistake, but the highlights will remain on the website until Tuesday morning due to the Bank Holiday break.
In a statement on its website, the club said: "Torquay United would like to apologise to our Gulls Player subscribers for a very disappointing weekend on this service.
"As a football club, we are very frustrated with this outcome, especially as our fans naturally assume the problem has emanated from Plainmoor.
"Like any club, we will make enough of our own mistakes through the course of a season but the weekend problems with Gulls Player have been beyond our control.
"We would still like to apologise unreservedly to our Gulls Player subscribers and assure you that every effort is being made to improve the areas we can control."
