Torquay's seafront Santa spectacle
SOME 140 Santas of all shapes and sizes could be seen walking two miles along Torquay seafront as part of the Herald Express loveLife campaign on Saturday.
The Santa Walk was a new event organised by Torre Church of England Primary School.

Deputy headteacher Sue Julyan said: "We made quite a spectacle and we had a great time. Lots of cars tooted and waved.
"It was a really good turnout but next year, when we will probably hold the event again, hopefully more people from outside the school will get involved. We have just covered the costs of buying the Santa suits but we can reuse them, so next year we should make some money for our nominated charity."
