Torquay vs Wycombe: Downes and out
Torquay have been dealt an injury blow ahead of the visit of Wycombe with the news that defender Aaron Downes has been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old Australian, who has played 35 times for the Gulls this season, had to come off just 24 minutes into the defeat to Port Vale at Plainmoor on Saturday.
Reading loanee Angus McDonald replaced the former Chesterfield man against Micky Adams' men and the youngster is likely to deputise again.
Interim manager Alan Knill started with two strikers against Vale and is likely to give top scorer Rene Howe and Southend loanee Elliot Benyon the chance to develop their partnership again.

Torquay, who have lost their last six games, are now just four points clear of the npower League Two relegation zone.
Wycombe will be boosted by the return of Josh Scowen for the trip.
The 19-year-old has missed the Chairboys' last two matches through suspension after picking up his 10th yellow card of the season but he could return to the starting line-up at Plainmoor.
QPR loanee Bruno Andrade was a late substitute against Southend last time out after recovering from an ankle ligament injury, and the winger could be in line for a start against the struggling Gulls.
Fellow midfielder Matt Spring returned to the side on Saturday for the first time in almost two months and the former Luton man will hope he has done enough to keep his place in Gareth Ainsworth's side.
Gary Doherty is back in full training after his back injury but Matt Bloomfield, Danny Foster and Grant Basey are still long-term injury absentees.
