Kelvin Townsend dominated the experts' event in the South West Devon club's SWOR motocross at Moreleigh near Totnes, writes Mick Perry.

He won all three races on the demanding Farleigh farm circuit, leaving Tristan Rowe, Martin Holman and Mark Rowe to dispute the minor positions.

Ben Sansom won one of the races in the senior class, which upgraded him to the experts' class. That left Ryan Hooper and Kai Forte as close rivals.

Each recorded one win, but Hooper took the class by a single point.

Close racing between John Farleigh, Ryan Stonier and Talon Veale in the 9-13 years inter-junior group resulted in two wins for Farleigh and one for Stonier, but there was no doubting Ryan Harris's superiority in the 14-17 years group.

He won all three races, with Alex Tarr second on each occasion. The meeting also included the first round of the over-40 championship, which resulted in two wins for farmer Andrew Savery at the expense of Ray Hooper.

James Hill finished a full lap up on Andrew Coad in the experts' class in the Camborne- Redruth club's two-hour clubmans' Enduro at Nancemellin. Josh Gotts and Steve Jose both completed 19 laps of a slick three-mile circuit in the up to 250cc two-stroke class, and there was just over four minutes between them at the finish.

There was a closer result in the under 250cc four-stroke clubman class, where John Davis had over two minutes' advantage over Barry Weeks.

Shane Orchard was the only one to finish in the Quadracer class.
